All and any earphone brand with a 3.5mm jack connector is compatible with this device. Walkman's COSMETIC CONDITION: Cosmetically this unit is in great condition, with very minor scuffing. - All the controls maintain their original look and feather touch attributes. - The closing mechanism is in excellent shape. - The tape transport area is extremely clean and the head condition is great. - The battery compartment is in great shape and the battery lid closes firmly. - The tape transport and moving parts are in excellent shape as well (no scratches or rust). Working condition: There seems to be an issue with the playback mechanism: upon pressing play (or FF, REW) one can hear the distinctive humming of the engine turning on, engaging and trying to start yet no playback action is observed. This is typically a belt-related issue.
